Allergies and Asthma

At CACC we take Asthma and Allergies extremely important and ask that families do provide up to date information at all times. We have Asthma and Anaphylaxis management plans in place and require parents to complete these on enrolment. To limit exposure to the most common allergies all of our food is Egg and Nut free and as a Centre we are a completely nut free Zone.

Incursions and Excursions

Once a month the Centre celebrates and holds incursions, these are all inclusive of your fees. In the month of January we celebrated Mindfulness and had a yoga instructor come into the Centre and the children got to have their very own yoga classes. These incursions expose children to a different way of being and offer them new things or experiences they wouldn’t usually be exposed to. Don’t you think it fabulous that we are opposite a park! We do, we love utilising the park for all different types of experiences. We have had heaps of different excursions over there, we find that taking children into nature and getting them to try something new is an amazing experience in, its self. We have had excursions over there to blast rockets, or go on bear hunts or simply be bug hunters.
